Extensive queues have been creating at British airports on Tuesday evening, together with the major Heathrow, following the country’s Border Pressure suffered a nationwide technical challenge that influenced passport regulate.
Britain’s leading airports, such as Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted in the south, Manchester in northern England, and Edinburgh in Scotland, said they have been informed of a nationwide dilemma and their staff were functioning with Border Power officers to support take care of the situation.

“All the e-gates were absolutely blank and there was just a whole lot of chaotic scenes,” said Sam Morter, 32, who was returning to London’s Heathrow from a holiday in Sri Lanka.

Videos posted on social media system X showed extensive queues of passengers at passport desks in airports like London’s Stansted and Heathrow.

Britain’s automatic border gates program crashed in May well 2023, leading to extensive queues and numerous hrs of delays for travellers.
