The Kremlin on Tuesday pushed back from accusations that it is attempting to destabilize Moldova’s government.

Moldova’s President Maia Sandu claimed Monday that Russia was intending to use overseas saboteurs to undermine her governing administration and reduce it from signing up for the European Union.

That will come just times after Moldovan Primary Minister Natalia Gavrilita resigned Friday.

“This sort of claims are wholly unfounded and unsubstantiated,” Russia’s overseas ministry explained in a assertion.

The overseas minister included that Ukraine was stirring tensions and striving to draw Moldova “into a hard confrontation with Russia.”

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed past 7 days that his intelligence authorities had uncovered a Russian strategy “for the destruction of Moldova.”
