Ukraine and Russia claimed on Saturday that hundreds of enemy troops were killed around the past 24 hrs in the struggle for Bakhmut, with Kyiv fending off unabating assaults and a little river that bisects the city now marking the new entrance line.

Serhiy Cherevatyi, a Ukrainian navy spokesperson, claimed that 221 pro-Moscow troops ended up killed and much more than 300 wounded in Bakhmut. Russia’s defense ministry reported that up to 210 Ukrainian soldiers were being killed in the broader Donetsk component of the frontline.
