Ukraine can reduce the war, but Russia can’t acquire at a geopolitical stage, Ian Bremmer, political scientist and president of Eurasia Team, instructed CNBC. 

“Ukraine can lose this war,” Bremmer informed CNBC’s Hadley Gamble at the Munich Protection Conference on Friday, but Russia can not gain in NATO simply because of its “pariah” position, Bremmer stated.

“[Russia] will continue to be lower off, NATO will however increase and for Putin, experience humiliated, insecure and in a vastly even worse geostrategic place than he was in advance of he invaded, what is he heading to do as the world’s most strong rogue condition? That is a lengthy-phrase query that goes past Ukraine,” Bremmer extra.
