Uk furthers economic downturn rebound with .1% GDP development in February

LONDON — U.K. gross domestic merchandise grew .1% in February, the Office environment for Nationwide Statistics reported on Friday.

That was in line with a projection in a Reuters poll.

The overall economy contracted in the 3rd and fourth corners of 2023, placing the U.K. in a specialized economic downturn. January recorded light development, which was revised upward to .3% on Friday.

Design output, which boosted development at the get started of the calendar year, fell 1.9% in February.
