BEIJING — The U.S. is pushing back on the concept it would like to suppress China and reported it won’t want to separate the two economies, in accordance to a Point out Department spokesperson’s opinions.

The spokesperson was responding to a CNBC ask for for remark on Chinese International Minister Qin Gang’s remarks Tuesday. Qin claimed U.S. calls for “setting up guardrails” on the relationship intended that China should really not react.

Qin also claimed that the U.S. needed to “hit the brake” to reduce conflict with China.

“We have produced it very clear we do not find to have China or have a new Chilly War,” the U.S. State Department spokesperson mentioned.

The spokesperson pointed to Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s reviews last year that said the U.S. won’t request to prevent China from increasing its economic system or “advancing the passions of its people.”
