U.S., British isles strike Houthi targets in Yemen in response to Pink Sea assaults

The United States and the United Kingdom have “productively done strikes” versus Houthi targets in Yemen, President Joe Biden said late Thursday.

“Now, at my way, U.S. military forces — collectively with the United Kingdom and with assist from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands — productively done strikes from a variety of targets in Yemen applied by Houthi rebels to endanger independence of navigation in a person of the world’s most important waterways,” Biden stated.

The Iran-backed Houthi militia group began their drone and missile attacks on shipping vessels and cargo ships traversing the Pink Sea late last 12 months, drawing worldwide condemnation.
