The U.S. and British militaries introduced a clean spherical of strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen Monday, protection officials stated.

The attacks, which had been carried out by manned aircraft and ships, marked the 2nd time the two militaries introduced strikes against Houthi internet sites in Yemen. The final round was on January 11. Since then, the U.S. has struck various Houthi targets on its own.

The Houthis, an Iranian-backed militia team that controls substantial swaths of territory in Yemen, have launched dozens of attacks against commercial ships in the Purple Sea in modern months. The team claims the strikes are in retaliation to Israel’s bombing of Gaza subsequent Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

The violence has even further fueled fears of the conflict in Israel escalating into a regional war.
