Two adults and two youngsters had been rescued from a Tesla that plunged 250 toes off a cliff Monday early morning in San Mateo County, California, officers explained. 

The car or truck was touring southbound on the Pacific Coastline Highway when it went more than the cliff at Devil’s Slide, south of the Tom Lantos tunnel, and landed near the water’s edge underneath, the Cal Fire San Mateo-Santa Cruz Unit said. 

The vehicle flipped and landed on its wheels in the slide, CAL Fire/Coastside Fire Incident Commander Brian Pottenger stated. Witnesses noticed the incident and known as 911. 

As crews ended up decreased down, they were able to see movement in the front seat, by their binoculars, that means a person was alive.

“We were being really very shocked when we identified survivable victims in the automobile. So, that actually was a definitely hopeful minute for us,” Pottenger stated. 

Fireplace officers known as for helicopters to aid hoist the survivors to protection. As they waited, firefighters rappelled to the scene and rescued the two young children.

The California Highway Patrol shared video on social media displaying helicopters decreased initially responders to the scene to extricate and rescue two adults inside of. 

All 4 were hospitalized. The San Mateo Sheriff’s Office said the two grown ups experienced non-life-threatening injuries and the two little ones were unharmed.
