Twitter’s desktop app sees surge in outages as Meta’s Threads requires off

Twitter is dealing with a wave of outages just as Meta’s manufacturer new rival Threads provider is racking up tens of tens of millions of signups.

Many Twitter users have documented outages around the earlier 24 several hours, with difficulties seemingly skyrocketing around 9:30 a.m. ET on Friday, according to knowledge from the Downdetector site.
