President Donald Trump is moving toward removing Attorney General Pam Bondi from her position, MS Now reported on Thursday.
Four sources who spoke with MS Now said that Bondi’s departure is imminent, and three sources familiar with the matter told the news outlet that EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin is on the shortlist to replace her.
Trump has told Bondi in recent days that she will soon be removed, according to the outlet.
“The sands of her hourglass are about to run out,” one source told MS Now, noting that Trump in recent days has been talking to Republicans and allies about removing Bondi.
Bondi’s planned removal has not been formally announced or solidified, and is subject to change, MS Now noted.
