Trump dwell updates: Grand jury set to resume as previous president blasts DA’s probe

The New York Town grand jury that for nearly two months has been hearing testimony and reviewing evidence connected to a hush income payment benefiting former President Donald Trump is established to resume function Monday.

The grand jury, which could be asked to challenge an indictment of Trump today, returns two days immediately after he spoke to supporters at his 2024 presidential campaign’s very first rally in Waco, Texas.

Trump during that celebration accused the Manhattan District Legal professional Alvin Bragg of “prosecutorial misconduct” for investigating him for probable crimes associated to how the hush income payment to porn star Stormy Daniels was explained in official company data.

The ex-president has attacked Bragg on his social media web-site Truth Social for much more than a week as the menace of an indictment appeared to increase with the testimony of Trump’s previous law firm and fixer Michael Cohen.

Regulation-enforcement officials say Bragg’s business office has been given hundreds of threats in the latest weeks, like an envelope obtained Friday that contained non-dangerous white powder and a letter vowing to kill the DA.
