Twitter’s most famed banned person, former President Donald Trump, applauded the platform’s new possession by billionaire Elon Musk, who beforehand said he would not imagine in long term suspensions.

“I am really satisfied that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no for a longer period be run by Radical Left Lunatics and Maniacs that really detest our country,” Trump wrote on his Reality Social account, a Twitter-like platform operate by the Trump Media & Technologies Team.

Trump did not tackle the risk of a return to the platform. Musk has said he would elevate Trump’s everlasting suspension, which Twitter put in in the wake of the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol right after its leadership feared further violence could stem from Trump’s tweets. Musk claimed that he favors additional non permanent steps.

Trump, for his component, stated months in the past that he would not return to the platform even if Musk reversed the ban. He started his information Friday by touting Reality Social and declaring with no proof or particulars that the young platform “experienced bigger figures” past week “than all other platforms, such as TikTok, Twitter, Fb, and the relaxation.”

“Twitter need to now get the job done difficult to rid by itself of all of the bots and faux accounts that have harm it so badly,” Trump wrote on Friday. “It will be considerably more compact, but much better.”
