‘The hell with it’: Elon Musk tweets SpaceX will ‘keep funding Ukraine govt for free’ amid Starlink funding battle

Elon Musk said in a tweet Saturday that his organization SpaceX would continue on to fund Starlink satellite world-wide-web terminals for the Ukrainian authorities as it battles invading Russian forces.

“The hell with it,” the billionaire tweeted, “even even though Starlink is continue to dropping revenue & other firms are finding billions of taxpayer $, we will just keep funding Ukraine govt for cost-free.”

It was not immediately obvious whether or not Musk was currently being sarcastic. In reaction to a tweet about the transfer, Musk mentioned, “we should really continue to do excellent deeds.” In a response to an additional tweet saying that Musk had previously paid out taxes that are funding Ukraine’s defense, he explained, “Fate enjoys irony.”

The tweets comply with a assertion from Musk on Friday in which he reported that SpaceX simply cannot proceed fund Starlink terminals in Ukraine “indefinitely,” after a report instructed his house enterprise experienced asked the Pentagon to address the costs.

SpaceX’s donated Starlink world-wide-web terminals have been important in trying to keep Ukraine’s armed service on the net throughout the war from Russia, even as communication infrastructure will get wrecked
