Tesla CEO Elon Musk says he&#x27s not donating funds to Trump or Biden

Tesla CEO Elon Musk claimed Wednesday he will not donate to the strategies of both President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump.

“Just to be tremendous apparent, I am not donating cash to either applicant for US President,” Musk stated in a publish on his social media web page X.

Musk’s tweet arrived a working day after The New York Situations described that previous weekend he satisfied with Trump and what the newspaper referred to as a number of rich Republican donors, in Palm Seashore, Florida. The previous president’s dwelling, in his Mar-a-Lago club, is in Palm Seaside.

Musk is just one of the wealthiest persons in the entire world, with an believed net worthy of of $195 billion, in accordance to Forbes.

Musk, who also heads SpaceX, could help Trump or Biden in strategies other than a direct donation to their campaigns.

He could, for occasion, donate to a political motion committee backing either contender.

Any main donation he can make could have a major impact on a candidate’s marketing campaign.

Musk did not respond to an e mail searching for remark on whether he ideas to give to a professional-Biden or pro-Trump PAC.

Even with Musk’s habit of getting political stances on social media, he is not a major, frequent donor to campaigns.

Musk all through the 2018 midterm election cycle made a series of contributions to Republican and Democratic committees supporting candidates for Congress for $33,900 apiece.
