U.S. Property Speaker Nancy Pelosi shipped remarks in Armenia on Sunday to express help for the country in the wake of fatal clashes with neighboring Azerbaijan.

In a press conference, Pelosi strongly condemned “illegal and lethal attacks by Azerbaijan” and added that the violence “threatens potential clients for a much-needed peace agreement.” She reported the U.S. is looking at the predicament carefully and continues to assistance a negotiated settlement.

Fighting in between Armenia and Azerbaijan broke out this week as component of a many years-extended standoff more than the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
