Skytrax names the greatest airports of 2024 — and Singapore’s Changi is no longer No. 1


Singapore’s Changi Airport has lost its pole placement as the world’s best airport to Doha’s Hamad Intercontinental Airport, in accordance to air transport ranking business Skytrax. 

This is the third time Hamad Intercontinental Airport clinched the leading spot, soon after winning the title in 2021 and 2022.

Tourists of additional than 100 nationalities participated in the Skytrax survey, which also named Hamad Global Airport as the finest airport in the globe for browsing.

Changi Airport has been crowned the world’s ideal airport 12 situations by Skytrax, like successful 1st area consecutively from 2013 to 2020, and again in 2023.

In this year’s study, the city-state’s airport gained the titles of “Very best Airport in Asia” and the “World’s Most effective Airport Immigration Assistance.”

South Korea’s Incheon Worldwide Airport rose to 3rd location — from No. 4 in 2023 — and was named the world’s most household-welcoming airport for the year.

Tokyo’s Haneda Airport arrived in fourth and was also named the “World’s Cleanest Airport.” It processed 70 million passengers in 2023 — the most of any airport on Skytrax’s checklist — in accordance to the company.

Tokyo’s other main intercontinental airport, Narita Global Airport, ranked No. 5 on the list. It was identified for its client services, successful the title of “World’s Most effective Airport Personnel.”
