Shots clearly show hefty rain and significant flooding in the United Arab Emirates


Storms and heavy rain have triggered flooding in some Gulf states, leading to the Tuesday closure of Dubai’s airport — one of the busiest in the globe.

The United Arab Emirates, normally acknowledged for its sizzling and sunny weather conditions, reportedly noticed around 100 mm of rain in a 24-hour interval, marking a 75-12 months record considering the fact that the state commenced logging rainfall.

The community governing administration also issued a red warning and shuttered workplaces, faculty and banking institutions. The storms hit other pieces of the Center East, with at least 19 dead in Oman owing to flooding, in accordance to nearby media.
