Louisville law enforcement coverage states that officers are required to “maintain their [body-worn cameras] in a regular point out of operational readiness” and for officers to “immediately activate their [body-worn cameras] in recording mode prior to partaking in all law enforcement things to do or encounters.”

He mentioned his arrest was the outcome of a “major misunderstanding.”

“This early morning, I was continuing as directed by police officers. It was a very chaotic predicament, understandably so looking at the tragic accident that experienced occurred previously,” Scheffler said in a write-up on his official Instagram account.

“There was a massive misunderstanding of what I believed I was getting requested to do,” he stated. “I hardly ever meant to disregard any of the guidelines.”

Scheffler’s attorney, Romines, previous week reported the golfer was told by a different officer to push close to the other automobiles.
