Russia trying to get to disrupt Ukraine’s preparations for counterattack, Kyiv states

Russia has shifted the concentrate of its missile strikes on Ukraine to attempt to disrupt preparations for a Ukrainian counterattack, a senior Ukrainian navy intelligence official claimed.

Immediately after months of attacks on Ukrainian electricity infrastructure, Russian forces are now progressively concentrating on army facilities and provides, mentioned Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Head of the Defence Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate.

“Formerly, they unsuccessful to knock out our strength system, and now they have completely diverse priorities – to disrupt our options and preparations for lively (army) motion all through the spring-summer campaign,” he explained to the RBK-Ukraine news portal.

He said the Russians ended up putting selection-building centres, provide routes and locations wherever huge quantities of ammunition, gear, gas or troops were concentrated.

“The enemy began to spend special attention to the parts where our air defence products is positioned,” Skibitskyi added. He also claimed Russian aviation was now targeting spots on or in the vicinity of the front line additional often than before. Russia, whose air strikes have also often strike residential regions across Ukraine, did not promptly comment on Skibitskyi’s remarks.

Ukraine has explained it is arranging a counteroffensive to try retake territory occupied by Russian forces, but that recent improvements all around the jap metropolis of Bakhmut do not indicate the assault has began.

Soldiers close to the front line reported this 7 days that Russian forces had been pounding offer strains to try to halt the Ukrainian developments.
