Russia will be invited to show up at conferences of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) bloc hosted by the United States future year, a U.S. formal said on Monday.

As “very good stewards of APEC,” the United States will invite Russia, which is a member of the 21-place bloc, Matt Murray, a senior U.S. official for APEC, advised a media briefing in Singapore.
