Rapid Firm shuts web site after hack sends ‘obscene’ Apple Information notifications

U.S. company and media publication Quick Company claimed it shut down its web site on Tuesday night just after the web page was hacked and despatched “obscene and racist” notifications to Apple users by way of the Apple iphone maker’s Apple Information service.

News publishers working with the Apple Information aggregation app can connect their electronic publishing equipment to Apple News to ship thrust notifications to Apple prospects who subscribe to the publisher’s channel. Quickly Organization stated hackers broke into these publishing equipment.

Hackers despatched two “obscene and racist press notifications” about a moment aside, Rapidly Business reported in a tweet, introducing it had suspended the Apple News feed until finally the situation was fixed.

Rapid Firm’s website was down and the web page exhibited a 404 error when viewed by Reuters on Tuesday night.
