The FBI is investigating a auto explosion Wednesday at the border crossing amongst Canada and the United States on the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, New York.

All western New York bridge crossings into the U.S. have been shut down as effectively, Erie County’s Govt reported. The vehicle was headed into the U.S. from Canada, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said.

Many unexpected emergency automobiles had been at the entrance of the bridge and federal authorities have been investigating, NBC affiliate WGRZ of Buffalo claimed. Gov. Kathy Hochul said she was aware of the incident.

“I’ve been briefed on the incident on the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls and we are carefully monitoring the condition. Condition organizations are on internet site and prepared to assist.” she claimed in a article on X.
