Commerce Sec. Raimondo on Samsung award: Goal is to make 20% of the world's semiconductors

TAYLOR, Texas — The Commerce Section is on monitor to dole out all of the $39 billion in grant income allocated beneath the CHIPS Act by year-end, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo instructed CNBC on Monday.
