Prosecutors have resolved not to go after a 2nd trial from disgraced FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried.

In a note to Judge Lewis Kaplan on Friday, the U.S. authorities stated that the final decision to forego a next demo had to do with the fact that a lot of the proof that would have been presented in the second trial experienced now been submitted to the Courtroom through Bankman-Fried’s initial legal trial.

In November, next a monthlong trial, a jury discovered the previous FTX chief government responsible of all seven felony counts from him.

Bankman-Fried, the 31-yr aged son of two Stanford lawful students and graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was convicted of wire fraud and conspiracy to dedicate wire fraud in opposition to FTX clients and towards Alameda Analysis creditors, conspiracy to dedicate securities fraud and conspiracy to commit commodities fraud from FTX investors, and conspiracy to dedicate income laundering.

He had pleaded not guilty to the costs, which had been all tied to the collapse of FTX and sister hedge fund Alameda late last year.

The FTX founder faces a lot more than 100 several years in prison. His sentencing hearing is established for March 28.
