OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is slated to testify on Tuesday prior to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee relating to AI oversight. Altman has become a hugely obvious face in the AI advancement races, leading OpenAI in its partnership with Microsoft and the improvement of its ChatGPT conversation bot.

Regulators and business executives have been scrambling to have an understanding of, control and integrate significant-language models like ChatGPT into their company and legislative frameworks. Earlier this thirty day period, Altman and a host of Silicon Valley executives traveled to the White Home to satisfy with Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Monday, Altman attended a closed-door dinner with all around 60 lawmakers, the place the CEO reportedly wowed them with his “forthcoming” speaking.
