Israeli Primary Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to retake handle of the Gaza Strip’s border with Egypt, increasing Israel’s mission to neutralize Hamas in a conflict it suggests it expects to last for months.

Hamas media reported on Saturday that Abdel-Fattah Maali, a senior member of the group’s armed wing, was killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza.
