Overtourism protests moved outside of Europe this summer, as residents of Mexico City took to the streets to march against rising costs of living in neighborhoods popular with digital nomads and international visitors. Protests against tourists are increasing in cities plagued by overtourism, reports CNBC’s Monica Pitrelli.
