In Tuesday’s ruling, the condition of Texas claimed that Zuckerberg has “had unique individual understanding of discoverable facts” that’s pertinent to its lawsuit, alleging that Meta violated condition laws linked to the assortment of biometric data and deceptive trade procedures.

Meta settled a facial recognition-connected course motion lawsuit in 2021 for $650 million. Meta didn’t respond for a request for comment.
