Malaysia halved the jail sentence on Friday of former leading Najib Razak, who was convicted of graft and income laundering related to the multibillion-dollar 1MDB scandal, a transfer envisioned to increase even further questions about Key Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s dedication to fighting graft.
