Look at live: Senate International Affairs Committee holds a listening to on U.S.-China coverage and competition


The Senate Overseas Relations Committee is holding a hearing titled “Analyzing U.S.-China Plan in the Period of Severe Levels of competition.”

The listening to comes two times just after President Joe Biden highlighted China’s more and more intense strategies as a danger to the sovereignty of the U.S. through his State of the Union address Tuesday evening.

The U.S. military services past week shot down a suspected Chinese spy balloon that traversed the region for a number of days.
