LONDON — Kate, the Princess of Wales, is in clinic recovering from planned abdominal surgical procedure, Kensington Palace claimed on Wednesday.

The spouse of Britain’s future king, Prince William, will be hospitalized for up to two months soon after the process and will consider a extended split from her ordinarily hectic program of general public appearances and non-public engagements.

“Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic yesterday for prepared abdominal surgical procedures,” the palace stated. “The medical procedures was successful and it is expected that she will keep on being in hospital for ten to fourteen times, prior to returning household to proceed her recovery.”
