Israel’s military on Monday stated it has started evacuating Palestinians from sections of Gaza’s southern city of Rafah, in advance of an envisioned army operation where by roughly 50 % of the enclave’s full population is sheltering.

“For your security, the IDF appeals to you evacuate promptly to the expanded humanitarian location in Al-Mawasi,” Avichay Adraee, the Israel Defense Force’s head of the Arab media division, wrote in a publish on X, according to a Google translation from Arabic.
