Israel to acquire 25 more F-35 stealth jets in  billion deal

Israel has accepted the invest in of a third squadron of F-35 stealth fighter jets in a deal worth $3 billion, the Ministry of Defense said on Sunday.

The extra 25 plane produced by Lockheed Martin will carry the variety of F-35s in Israel’s air pressure to 75, the ministry stated, incorporating that the deal will be financed via the defense aid bundle Israel gets from the United States.

Israel was the to start with nation outdoors the United States to acquire the F-35. In May 2018 its air pressure main explained that Israel was the first to use the airplane in fight.

The F-35 is also identified as the Joint Strike Fighter and in Israel by its Hebrew identify “Adir” (Mighty).
