Images show Sahara dust change Athens orange


Athens and the south of Greece appeared to be colored in orange and purple soon after dust from the Sahara engulfed the location on Tuesday evening.

Sturdy winds experienced carried the dust across hundreds of miles from Africa. The dust is envisioned to crystal clear during Wednesday, when winds are established to ease, regional media claimed.

The robust winds together with sizzling temperatures also lifted problems about wildfires, with the Greek Fireplace Support saying 25 experienced damaged out in the 24 hours to Tuesday night, in accordance to a Google translation.
