U.S. tech giants Dell, HP and China’s Lenovo are among the 27 firms that have received approvals to make IT hardware in India underneath a manufacturing-connected incentive plan, as the nation aims to enhance domestic production and appeal to huge investments in the benefit chain.

Beneath the PLI Scheme 2. for IT hardware, which was authorised by the government in May, India will deliver firms incentives for products manufactured in the country.
