Google on Thursday announced it is pausing its Gemini artificial intelligence picture era element following expressing it gives “inaccuracies” in historical photographs.
End users on social media had been complaining that the AI software generates images of historic figures — like the U.S. Founding Fathers — as men and women of coloration, calling this inaccurate.
Google explained in a submit on X on Wednesday that the AI element can “crank out a huge range of men and women.
