Lafarge Cement has agreed to plead responsible Tuesday and shell out a good of additional than $700 million to U.S. federal legal expenses associated to the French firm’s involvement in payments to the terror corporation ISIS to keep a plant functioning in Syria.

The approximately $17 million payments to ISIS were manufactured from 2012 as a result of 2014, and occurred even as the terror group was kidnapping and killing westerners, NBC Information documented.

The investigation that led to Lafarge staying indicted in U.S. District Court docket in Brooklyn, New York, is ongoing. No folks have been billed.
