Previous Scottish Very first Minister Nicola Sturgeon was arrested Sunday by police investigating the funds of the governing, professional-independence Scottish National Occasion.

Police Scotland explained a 52-year-outdated female was detained “as a suspect in relationship with the ongoing investigation into the funding and finances of the Scottish Nationwide Bash.”

“The female is in custody and is getting questioned by Law enforcement Scotland detectives,” the drive claimed.

U.K. law enforcement do not title suspects until finally they are billed. The BBC and other media outlets recognized the arrested girl as Sturgeon. The SNP did not straight away comment.
