Around 7,000 nurses returned to do the job at Mount Sinai Clinic and Montefiore Healthcare Centre, two of New York’s busiest hospitals, right after a three-working day strike.
But colleagues close to the state say it’s just a make any difference of time just before frontline staff at other hospitals commence walking the picket line.
Troubles are mounting at hospitals throughout the country as they consider to deal with common staffing shortages, overworked nurses crushed down by the pandemic and a busted pipeline of new nurses.
