Tesla CEO Elon Musk kicked off his second day in China with a pay a visit to to the country’s commerce ministry on Wednesday early morning.

A working day before, he met with Chinese International Minister Qin Gang. He also had meal with Zeng Yuqun, chairman of CATL, the Chinese battery big and a important Tesla provider, on Tuesday night, in accordance to a supply and pics shared on social media.

Tesla and CATL did not react to requests for remark on the assembly or on Musk’s designs in China.

Musk left his lodge on Wednesday morning accompanied by Tesla’s China-primarily based public affairs chief Grace Tao and head of world manufacturing Tom Zhu. Musk’s vehicle was afterwards noticed parked outside the house the commerce ministry.
