EEOC sues Tesla alleging common racist harassment of Black workers, retaliation versus these who spoke out

The U.S. Equal Work Prospect Fee (EEOC) has sued Tesla accusing Elon Musk’s electric powered automobile maker of violating “federal regulation by tolerating popular and ongoing racial harassment of its Black staff members and by subjecting some of these staff to retaliation for opposing the harassment.”

Tesla did not instantly reply to a request for remark.

The federal agency accountable for implementing civil legal rights legislation against place of work discrimination announced it was filing suit against Tesla on Thursday.

Tesla was previously sued by a state civil rights agency in California about associated allegations. A jury also beforehand ordered Tesla to shell out a Black previous employee, Owen Diaz, about $3.2 million in damages just after discovering he endured racist discrimination working there in 2015.
