Rep. Angie Craig of Minnesota was assaulted Thursday early morning in the elevator of her apartment creating in Washington, D.C., her workplace mentioned.
Craig, a Democrat who has served in Congress since 2019, “defended herself from the attacker and suffered bruising, but is in any other case physically alright,” her chief of employees Nick Coe said in a assertion.
