It comes soon after e-commerce company Alibaba and Nio rival Xpeng in August opened a computing centre to practice software package for driverless cars and trucks.

Nio and Tencent explained on Monday they will work alongside one another on substantial-precision mapping programs for drivers. Even so, China’s at the time higher-traveling EV start-ups have witnessed their share rates hammered this calendar year as buyers turned absent from development shares and China’s overall economy faced a slew of problems.
