China throws its support driving Russia, says Wagner rebellion is ‘internal affair’

China on Sunday described an aborted insurrection by a Russian mercenary pressure as an “inside affair” and expressed help for the Kremlin’s initiatives to retain nationwide steadiness.

“This is Russia’s inside affair,” claimed a Chinese international ministry’s spokesperson in a statement. “As Russia’s helpful neighbor and extensive strategic spouse of coordination for the new period, China supports Russia in protecting nationwide stability and acquiring advancement and prosperity.”

Separately, China’s International Minister Qin Gang and Vice International Minister Ma Zhaoxu achieved Russia’s Deputy International Minister Andrey Rudenko on Sunday.
