British pound falls to its most affordable level against the dollar considering the fact that 1985

The British pound plummeted on Wednesday to its lowest stage from the U.S. dollar considering that 1985.

Sterling fell to $1.14 in afternoon trade — a level not seen in 37 years — as traders responded to the U.K.’s darkening economic landscape with a new key minister at the helm.
