Blinken claims he unsuccessful to revive navy-to-military services talks with China

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken advised reporters Monday that in his meetings in Beijing, he “consistently” raised the need to have for immediate communication concerning the two countries’ militaries.
“At this instant, China does not agree to move forward with that,” he mentioned, noting the U.S. would retain functioning towards restoring these interaction channels.
An problem for the Chinese is that the U.S. has sanctioned Li Shangfu, China’s minister of countrywide protection.
