New Mexico prosecutors have re-charged Alec Baldwin with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the deadly 2021 shooting on the established of “Rust.” 

Rates had been dropped versus the actor in April soon after “new specifics” emerged that demanded further more investigation, prosecutors said beforehand. At the time, prosecutors cautioned that their decision to drop the charges did “not absolve” Baldwin of culpability for his position in the deadly taking pictures, which killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

Baldwin was indicted on two individual counts of involuntary manslaughter, courtroom documents present. He is struggling with one depend of involuntary manslaughter, negligent use of a firearm, and a different count of involuntary manslaughter, with out owing caution or circumspection.

Baldwin’s attorneys Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro of Quinn Emmanuel said they “appear forward to our working day in court docket.”
