The New York hush income trial of Donald Trump is set to resume Tuesday with testimony from its initial witness, former Nationwide Enquirer publisher David Pecker.

But ahead of Pecker returns to the stand, prosecutors and Trump’s lawyers are established to argue more than whether the former president really should be held in contempt for allegedly violating his gag order 10 times in online posts.

On Monday, jurors heard opening statements from the prosecution, which alleged that Trump led a criminal hush money plan to affect the 2016 presidential election. Opening statements also arrived from the protection, which denied that Trump experienced committed any crime.
