Iceland&#x27s primary minister resigns, will run for president

Icelandic Prime Minister Katrin Jakobsdottir introduced on Friday that she will resign from her post and operate for president, public broadcaster RUV and daily Morgunbladid reported.

It was not right away obvious who would do well Jakobsdottir as key minister, a task she has held considering that 2017.

“I have made a decision to question to be unveiled from the position of key minister of Iceland and to stand in the future presidential election,” Jakobsdottir reported in a video clip message according Morgunbladid.
